wear one's heart on one's sleeve
(But I will wear my heart upon my sleeve / For daws to peck at …)”。
1:We do not specially respect him who wears his heart upon his sleeve for daws to peck at … (A. Trollope: Ralph the Heir, Vol. I, Chapter 1)
例2:In all his performances ...... he never wears his heart on his sleeve: you sense his reserve, his secrecy, his self-control.
