Job's comforter 增加对方痛苦的安慰者

源出《圣经》（《约伯记》第十六章第二节）。约伯在遭遇大难后，他的朋友不是安慰他，反而告诫甚至谴责他，因而约伯答道：“这样的话我听了许多，你们安慰人，反叫人烦恼。” （Then I have heard many such things: miserable comforters are ye all.）

例： Mrs. Baker was a Job's comforter, while sympathising with the mother who had lost her child, she told the mother that it was her fault for not sending the child to hospital sooner. 贝克太太是个增加对方痛苦的安慰者，她一面对失去小孩的母亲表示同情，一面却对这个母亲说她的过错是没有及早送孩子去医院。
